Hubby and I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a week in Hawaii. I know you die hard readers of my blog can't wait to hear all the exciting details. Well today is your lucky day....hold on to your ponchos because here we go!

P.S.That title has nothing to do with my post except for the fact that it was going through my head the entire time we were in Hawaii.

For starters before we even took off, we got to take a little tour of the cock pit...that is co-pilot Terry sitting next to me!

Crazy way to start the trip!

Our first day there we spent walking along Waikiki, and called it an early night because we were so tired (I know exciting right). Don't worry it gets better.
That is Diamond Head in the background.

Day 2: Oh how I loved you day 2!
We headed up to the North Shore...Amazing! First stop, the Pali look out.

Second, we stopped by the Byodo-In Temple-Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, it was breathtaking.After working up an appetite
We ate at Pizza Bob's (I miss you already!), ate us some Matsumoto's...yummy
and we spent the rest of the day playing on the beach! Don't mind the pictures of my food, it was just to delicious to not take a picture. Enjoy!

We finished the night off by going to the Polynesian Cultural Center (not going to lie....I was a little disappointed...which might explain why I don't have any pictures...either that or I was just being lazy).
I have many more pictures from day 2 (apparently we had a lot of energy that day so we crammed a lot in) but for now, I will leave you with a picture of Hubby and Ronald McDonald having a moment.

Happy Fourth of July!
We headed to downtown Mesa for their celebration. Despite the heat we had a lot of fun.

Hubs family came over for a BBQ and some swimming. We were lucky enough to have his sister and her little boy visiting us from Seattle for the week. Baby K loves being around her cousins.

With the warmer weather we have been having, we have had to find ways to stay cool. We love playing in the sprinklers....Ok I just like watching, Baby likes the sprinklers.

Baby K met a new friend that day, his name is Charlie. A second earlier they had been holding hands through the sprinkler...um precious!

Road Trip

On Saturday we took a little road trip to Jerome. We met my sister Tobi & her husband Ron up there. The weather was gorgeous, and we enjoyed walking around the town, and doing some window shopping.

I have been wanting to recover my dining room chairs for a long time now, and with the help of my very talented sister-in-law, I was able to do just that. I think they turned out pretty fabulous.

Bullhead or Bust

This past weekend we had the opportunity to go to Bullhead to visit with Matt's Dad and his wife Sue. It was a quick trip, but we still had fun. It was Baby K's first real road trip, and she did suprisingly well. Thank goodness! Baby got to do lots of fun things, we were just along for the ride.

It was our first Christmas with Baby K and we were so excited, even though we know she will have no recollection of this Christmas. Hey doesn't mean we still couldn't party!

We decided to take another trip to the zoo since the weather has been perfect. This time my sister Tatum was able to come.

It took baby K awhile to get into the animals. She was more interested in the little birds on the ground, or the little kids running around everywhere.

We were excited, it was Miss K's first Halloween, but sadly she was sick, we still tortured her to try and get some pictures. (As you can tell they aren't the best, but she was still so stinkin' cute!) We went to our Ward's Trunk or Treat, ate hot dogs, and passed out candy.

We went to The Phoenix Zoo. We went with my mom, sister-in-law, and my nieces and nephews. Kensington loves her cousins! We plan on going back especially now that the weather is so much cooler, and since we got a free zoo membership. Woo Woo!

Fishing in Prescott! We didn't catch anything, but it was fun to get away for the day with our little family. Kensington loves being outside and wanted nothing more than to play in the water.

If you have never been to the Goodwill 50% off Saturday's, you are missing out. You can find some great treasures there and get them for super cheap. I have been wanting a desk for downstairs where I can keep my computer, pay bills, etc. I came across this desk and thought it would be perfect.

We have been enjoying some amazing weather here in good ol' AZ. We decided to take advantage of it the week of Spring Break. We spent lots of time with cousins at the park fishing, and at the Train Park. As you can tell we were having lots of fun!

Kensington was blessed on Sunday, and we were lucky enough to have a lot of our family there for it. Matt's dad and his wife even made the drive from Bullhead City for it. Matt's mom made Kensington's amazing blessing dress. I loved it, and Kensington looked like a little princess!

I ended up having a C-Section...not the ideal situation, but we had to do it. Nothing like getting cut open. Good thing she is so dang cute. We are home now, and trying to adjust to our crazy new life, but we love having her around.

New Baker In Town...

I have discovered in the past few weeks, some pregnant women go through the cleaning & organizing stage. I apparently have started a new phase, which is to bake, bake, and bake some more. Oh and of course I have to eat it all too!

I had to have a special helper with the rolls. The dough was so thick and there was so much of it, he had to stand on a chair to get a good grip.
I made some sugar cookies to, but those didn't last long enough to take a picture. Hmmmm....what to bake next?

We have finally gotten our babies room put together for the most part. Yippee! We are just a few short weeks from her arrival. If you can't tell I love before and after pictures. We used the babies room for storage before:

You will have to use your imagination for the After pics, because the rooms in our house are tiny, I can't get the whole room in one shot.
You might be thinking, "Wow where did she get those amazing curtains?" I MADE THEM! This was my first real sewing project, and with the help of my fabulous sister-in-law Bethany, I think they turned out pretty good. (Just don't look very close).
I love...love...love the bedding. Thankfully I know a lot of wonderful people who made this my group gift at my shower.
Matt decided our baby needed some friends to keep her company.
I sure hope our doctor was right that we are having a girl, otherwise we are in deep trouble with all the pink going on.

(Hopefully I can post pictures of my baby shower soon. It was wonderful and we got a lot of great things for the baby!)

There is something about freshly planted flowers that makes me so happy! I missed not having any flowers growing for the last few months, so I grabbed my mom and set to work making the front of my house beautiful!

I love this time of year. Fall is in the air, which means it is bearable to be outside. Several months ago we decided we wanted to pull all the rock up in our backyard, pull out the ugly cactus and bush that was growing. We started before it got to hot, but then I got pregnant, followed by three months of me feeling absolutely horrible. By the time I was feeling good enough to start working on the yard again it was 200 degrees outside. I didn't feel like dying from heat stroke.

Our backyard remained a dirt wasteland for the next several months until a couple weeks ago in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep, I started stressing about all the things I needed to get done before the baby comes....one of them being my ugly backyard needs to be finished. How sad that is what was stressing me out, not buying baby products or practicing my breathing. I just wanted to get my yard done. My wonderful husband and mother helped to finish this project. Here are some before and afters.
Isn't it beautiful! It still has a way to go, but it makes me so happy to see pretty green grass and not dirt, weeds, and rocks every day! Onto my front yard!

Flagstaff

I miss you already Flagstaff. I miss the 70 degree weather, I miss the changing leaves, I miss the fresh smell of the pine trees, and I miss not having to think about work. Mostly, I miss just hanging out with this man...

We were able to escape the heat for the weekend. Partially to celebrate our anniversary which was a couple weeks ago, and to have one last chance to get away together before the baby comes. Saturday, Tait & Bethany and their kiddos drove up for the day to hangout. We went up to Snowbowl and rode the ski lift. Matt and I actually hungout at the bottom with E. Man while the others rode to the top. Matt and him had fun exploring.
After the ski lift we had a fun dinner at Oregano's and then found a really pretty park for the kids to play at. They probably could have run around for hours.
After the park, we went back to the hotel so the kids could get ready for bed, and get on the road. Thanks Tait & Bethany for coming and hanging out with us. We already want to go back!

That's right I am in a leotard! (Don't worry, we are both fully clothed underneath). Last night my sister-in-law Bethany came over so we could watch the " So You Think You Can Dance" finale, and we had to dress the part. Can't wait to see who wins tonight!! (And for all those wanting to see what my belly looks like...here ya go!)

Colorado Rocky Mountain High...

For the 4th of July we were lucky enough to escape the heat and go to Colorado. We stayed at my brother-in-laws family cabin. Here are a few pictures of our adventures....

We took a hike to some amazing waterfalls.

Everyone who made the hike. It was the most exercise I have gotten since I found out I was pregnant (ya, I know sad, don't judge me!)

The amazing view! It looked like the Great Valley (you know from Land Before Time..."we're on our way, the way to the great valley!!!!")

Matt and I took some engagement pictures!!!

Thats my man showing off his mad shooting skills. We went shooting with some of my siblings, & spouses.

R.I.P "Dead Meat". This is our friend that made the long trip home with us. Matt hit this bird within 15 minutes of us leaving the cabin. We decided to see how long it would stay on the truck, and it lasted the entire trip...all 10 hours!!!! Dead Meat is the loving name Matt gave him.

Lastly, you might have to enlarge this picture, by far the best thing we saw the entire trip. You could see this from both directions. Just remember "Jesus is watching you!".

We had a lot of fun and wish we could go back, especially to escape the 200 degree weather!!!! Thanks Tatum & Chase for taking us!
